Double Gold medal at NZ Spirits Awards 2021

Barrister Artemisia Absinthium Gin represents a daring and unique venture at the intersection of gin and absinthe, created by LADOGA, a prominent European producer. Distilled to 40% ABV, this gin incorporates common wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) alongside traditional gin botanicals such as juniper berry, fresh lemon peel, coriander, cumin, cardamom, star anise, and peppermint. The result is a crystal-clear gin with a distinctive, spicy-bitter taste and a filigree balance of herbs and spices. It offers a complex and intriguing aromatic profile, setting it apart from conventional gins. Barrister gins are known for their "separate distillation" method, where aromatic spirits are created individually from each botanical to emphasize its unique aroma and taste, then carefully blended.

The classic blend of finest botanicals and spices distilled separately: juniper, cardamom, fresh orange peel, coriander and Angelica.

Gin is served alone and with the addition of tonic. To create an aromatic drink based on “Barrister” Blue Gin, put crushed ice in a glass and add it with mint leaves, lemon slices, sprigs of rosemary or blueberries.

Taste
The taste of gin is spicy, refreshing, with hints of cardamom, orange, spices, anise and juniper.
