Khvanchkara is a prestigious protected designation of origin (PDO) from the Racha region of Western Georgia. It is a naturally semi-sweet red wine, famous since the early 20th century. Produced by Mtavruli, this wine is made from the unique Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli grapes grown in a specific microclimate, which gives Khvanchkara its unmistakable aroma and flavour profile.
Often called the "jewel of Georgia", this is a very special wine.
